چکیده

We present 1 resolution CARMA observations of the 3mm continuum and 95GHz CH3OH masers toward 14 candidate high mass protostellar objects (HMPOs). Dust continuum emission is detected toward seven HMPOs, and CH3OH masers toward 5 sources. The 3mm continuum sources have diameters < 2× 10AU, masses between 21 and 1200M⊙, and volume densities > 10 8 cm. Most of the 3mm continuum sources are spatially coincident with compact H II regions and/or water masers, and are presumed to be formation sites of massive stars. A strong correlation exists between the presence of 3mm continuum emission, 22GHz H2O masers, and 95GHz CH3OH masers. However, no 3mm continuum emission is detected toward ultracompact H II regions lacking maser emission. These results are consistent with the hypothesis that 22GHz H2O masers and CH3OH masers are signposts of an early phase in the evolution of an HMPO before an expanding H II region destroys the accretion disk. Evolution of Massive Protostars with High Accretion Rates

Formation of massive stars by accretion requires a high accretion rate of Ṁ∗ > 10 −4 M⊙/yr to overcome the radiation pressure barrier of the forming stars. Here, we study evolution of protostars accreting at such high rates, by solving the structure of the central star and the inner accreting envelope simultaneously. The protostellar evolution is followed starting from small initial cores until...

The Evolution of Outflow-Envelope Interactions in Low-Mass Protostars

We present multi-line and continuum observations of the circumstellar environment within 10 AU of a sample of protostars to investigate how the effects of outflows on their immediate environment changes over time. CO(1-0) emission probes the high-velocity molecular outflows near the protostars and demonstrate that the outflow opening angle widens as the nascent star evolves. Maps of the CO(1-0)...

Herschel observations of embedded protostellar clusters in the Rosette molecular cloud***

The Herschel OB young stellar objects survey (HOBYS) has observed the Rosette molecular cloud, providing an unprecedented view of its star formation activity. These new far-infrared data reveal a population of compact young stellar objects whose physical properties we aim to characterise. We compiled a sample of protostars and their spectral energy distributions that covers the near-infrared to...

The Evolution of Far-infrared Co Emission from Protostars

We investigate the evolution of far-IR CO emission from protostars observed with Herschel/PACS for 50 sources from the combined sample of HOPS and DIGIT Herschel key programs. From the uniformly sampled spectral energy distributions, whose peaks are well sampled, we computed the Lbol, Tbol,and L L bol smm for these sources to search for correlations between far-IR CO emission and protostellar ...

Effect of the temperature profile of the accretion disk on the structure of jets and outflows around protostars

Magnetic fields play an important role in creating, driving, and in the evolution of outflows and jets from protostars and accretion disks. On the other hand, the temperature profile of the accretion disks may also affect the structure of the magnetic field and outflows. In this paper, we use the self-similar method in cylindrical coordinates to investigate the effect of the temperature profile...
